The "Professor of the Year" competition of the UNICUM Foundation has been taking place for 18 years and is under the patronage of the Federal Ministry of Education and Research and the Federal Ministry of Economics and Climate Protection. Three places are awarded in each of four categories. A jury headed by the former HRK Vice President and Dean of the University of Duisburg-Essen, Prof. Dr. Ulrich Radtke, decides who will become Professor of the Year.
The Rector of the University of Bonn, Prof. Dr. Michael Hoch, congratulates: "I am very pleased that the many years of successful work at our university have received appropriate recognition in this way. And this is even more important regarding the increasing shortage of young, pharmaceutically qualified persons in our country, of which you are well aware. Your - now in the truest sense of the word - "award-winning" commitment to university teaching will not only be greatly appreciated by "your" students. This special commitment is also a great success for our university.
