The Center for Pharmacometrics and Systems Pharmacology's purpose is to create a uniquely rigorous and integrative academic translational science program in quantitative clinical pharmacology with a focus on personalized medicine. Their research focuses on modeling and simulation techniques to de-risk clinical trials, development of physiologic and mechanism-based disease models, improving drug safety through the use of systems pharmacology knowledge platforms and integrating metabolomics and proteomics into the drug development science.

From 24 July to 13 October Olga Teplytska was on a research stay at the Center for Pharmacometrics and Systems Pharmacology (University of Florida) working with the research group of Prof. Dr. Stephan Schmidt. During her stay, she gained a lot of insights and hands-on experience in various modeling techniques. Her research stay was funded with a Santander International Exchange Grant.
